JOB TITLE

MANAGER - MEP PROCUREMENT

MAIN OBJECTIVE

The Procurement Manager is responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the organization.

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor of Engineering / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation & Control Engineering

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Minimum 8 years' experience in Supply Chain Management and Technical Procurement.

RESPONSIBILITY

The Manager - MEP Procurement is responsible to ensure all contract deliverable under given guidance of the Facility Head.

JOB ROLE

• Identify, evaluate, and on-board reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service-level agreements.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, quality, or commercial issues.
• Analyse market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure procurement complies with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supplier management.
• Manage procurement budgets and monitor spending against targets.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate regular procurement reports.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical negotiating and problem-solving abilities.
• Vendor relationship management expertise.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Advance Microsoft etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, specifications, and technical parameters.
• Strong knowledge of ISO, NBC and BIS code of conduct.
