Genins India Insurance TPA Ltd. is expanding its Health Insurance Claims Operations and invites applications from qualified BAMS / BHMS professionals for the position of Medical Officer.

Position: Medical Officer
Qualification: BAMS / BHMS from a recognized university
Experience: 05 years

Key Responsibilities

• Medical scrutiny and assessment of health insurance claims
• Evaluation of cashless / pre-authorisation requests
• Scrutiny of reimbursement claims and medical documents
• Review of diagnosis, treatment, hospitalization and medical bills
• Assessment of claim admissibility as per policy terms, conditions and coverage
• Identification of discrepancies, unnecessary treatment and potential Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA)
• Ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescribed TAT and quality standards

Preferred Skills

• Good knowledge of medical terminology and hospitalization procedures
• Understanding of health insurance claims will be an advantage
• Good analytical and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• Basic computer knowledge
