About this role
Job Title: Plant Maintenance Engineer (SPM / Automatic Assembly Lines).
Job Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience in plant maintenance of Special Purpose Machines (SPM), automatic machines, and automatic assembly lines.
- Attend and resolve machine breakdowns during running plant shifts, ensuring minimum downtime.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machines (SPM / assembly machines / automation systems).
- Conduct shop floor activities related to machine maintenance.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of pneumatic systems (air cylinders, valves, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and their upkeep.
- Record and analyze breakdown data (MTTR / MTBF), prepare reports, and maintain documentation.
- Use MS Office, SAP system for breakdown entry, maintenance records, and reporting.
- Support industrial automation activities for machine efficiency and uptime improvement.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of machine maintenance (SPM, assembly lines, automation machines).
- Strong hands-on experience with pneumatic & mechanical systems.
- Ability to manage shift operations independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office / SAP for maintenance reporting and analysis.
- Understanding of MTTR, MTBF analysis and machine performance tracking.
- Exposure to industrial automation preferred.
