Job Overview

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator – Sea & Air Freight to manage and coordinate international shipments through ocean and air freight. The role involves coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure shipments are delivered efficiently, on time, and in compliance with international trade requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage sea and air freight shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Book cargo with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates on shipment status, ETAs, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping and export/import documentation, including:
  
• Commercial Invoices
• Packing Lists
• Bills of Lading
• Air Waybills
• Customs documentation
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs agents, warehouses, and clients.
• Ensure shipments comply with applicable international trade and customs requirements.
• Handle shipment delays, route deviations, documentation issues, cargo damage, and other logistics-related challenges.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure shipments meet required delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update logistics systems/software.
• Manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in ocean and air freight forwarding, international logistics, or shipping.
• Good understanding of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.
• Knowledge of IATA regulations and/or IMDG regulations is preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to track and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, or shipment tracking platforms.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict delivery timelines.
• Knowledge of customs and import/export procedures will be an advantage.
• Bilingual/multilingual skills will be an added advantage.
• Relevant certifications in hazardous materials, international trade, or logistics will be an advantage.
