Walk-in || Logistics Coordinator

A Logistics Coordinator for Sea and Air Freight manages international shipments, coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs to ensure timely, compliant delivery. Responsibilities include booking cargo, preparing shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading, packing lists), tracking shipments in real-time, and resolving delays.

Key Responsibilities

• Shipment Management: Book and track ocean and air freight, ensuring optimal routing and meeting customer delivery dates.
• Documentation: Prepare and verify international shipping documents, including customs paperwork, for import/export compliance.
• Communication: Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and clients to ensure smooth transit.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively address cargo delays, route deviations, and cargo damage.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: 23 years of experience in ocean and air freight forwarding or logistics.
• Knowledge: Understanding of Incoterms, IATA, and/or IMDG regulations.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in logistics software.
• Pressure Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Common Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities are often preferred.
• Relevant certifications in hazardous materials or international trade are a plus.
