Walk-in || Laptop Chip Level Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Chip-level motherboard troubleshooting
• SMD soldering and desoldering
• IC, MOSFET, capacitor, resistor, diode, and transistor replacement
• BIOS flashing and programming
• Multimeter and DC power supply usage
• Circuit tracing and schematic/board view reading
• Laptop hardware diagnosis (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, etc.)
• BGA rework (preferred)
• ESD safety practices

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma/ITI/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, or a related field.
• 25 years of experience in laptop chip-level repairing and motherboard troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components such as ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors, diodes, transistors, and power circuits.
• Hands-on experience with SMD soldering/desoldering, BIOS programming, and motherboard repair.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams, schematics, and board-view files.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as a digital multimeter, DC power supply, oscilloscope (preferred), soldering/rework station, and BIOS programmer.
• Experience in repairing laptops from leading brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, and Apple (preferred).
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and turnaround time (TAT).
