Position Title: Junior Design Engineer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Design Engineer to join our team. The role
involves preparing and updating technical drawings, supporting new product development, and
coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate product development. This position is ideal
for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:


Create assembly drawings, part drawings, and related documentation in accordance with
company standards.
Update and revise existing drawings as per engineering changes, and rename files as per the new
nomenclature system.

Upload and maintain drawing records in the ERP system to ensure accurate data management.
Assist in new product development by supporting design activities, concept generation, and
prototype validation.

Coordinate with suppliers for prototype manufacturing, ensuring design intent and quality
requirements are met.
Collaborate with internal teams including production, quality, and purchase to resolve design-
related issues.

Ensure all design work complies with company standards, specifications, and quality guidelines.
Provide technical support for ongoing projects and participate in continuous improvement
initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills

Diploma / Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Production or equivalent.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks).
Basic understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft excel/ google sheets
Familiarity with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Experience:
1-5 years of relevant experience in Engineering company would be preferred.
