Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Java Microservices Developer with strong experience in VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes, Java, SQL, and Microservices Architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications in containerized environments.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17)
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture
• Experience in VMware Tanzu Platform
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and Web Services
• Good understanding of SQL and database concepts
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
• Understanding of application deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting

Good to Have Skills

• OpenShift
• Kafka or Messaging Systems
• API Gateway
• Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
• Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Agile/Scrum Methodology

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices applications.
• Design and implement REST APIs.
• Deploy and manage applications on Tanzu/Kubernetes platforms.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Work closely with architects, business analysts, and development teams.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding best practices.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices.
