Job Description

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 8/11/17 or above.
• Practical experience with Quarkus framework.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs and web services.
• Good understanding of Hibernate and JPA.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Kafka and messaging systems will be an added advantage.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and data structures.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Quarkus.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate databases, external services, and messaging systems.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and testable code.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow coding standards and contribute to reliable, high-quality software delivery.
