Walk-in || IT Trainer

Role & responsibilities

• To teach students with visual impairment on computer skills with the use of different screen reading and magnifying software.
• To involve and assist in other general services of the centre such as skills training, coordination of events and programs
• Provide computer and digital literacy training to persons with visual impairment.
• Train beneficiaries on screen readers such as JAWS and NVDA, magnification software, and other assistive technologies.
• Conduct individual and group training sessions based on learners' needs.
• Assess trainee skills and monitor progress.
• Develop accessible training materials and practical exercises.
• Provide basic technical troubleshooting and assistive technology support.
• Maintain training records, assessment reports, and progress documentation.
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to support education, employment, and independent living goals.
