We are looking for an experienced Downstream Manufacturing Professional for our state-of-the-art Biosimilars Manufacturing site based in Ahmedabad. In this role, you will manage downstream production processes for mammalian cell culture, protein purification, and equipment qualification while ensuring strict compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute Downstream Production operations for mammalian cell culture and biologics.
• Handle advanced Protein Purification Techniques, including various chromatography modes, Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), and virus filtration.
• Operate automated Chromatography Systems (such as Cytiva or Sartorius).
• Perform hands-on Column Packing, Unpacking, and Column Qualification.
• Drive New Equipment Introduction & Suite Qualification, including drafting Quality Risk Management (QRM) documents, change controls, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CFT) and vendors for equipment setup and qualification.
• Maintain rigorous compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Handle Quality Management Systems (QMS) documentation and actively support regulatory audits (USFDA, EMA, etc.).

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: Life science Graduate/Postgraduate (M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Biotechnology/Microbiology).
• Industry Experience: 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Biosimilars or Biologics Downstream Production (mammalian culture background).
• Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
• Proven track record of facing and supporting regulatory audits.
• Strong communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
