Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop mappings, mapplets, workflows, worklets, and reusable transformations.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple source systems.
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
• Work closely with Data Warehouse, BI, and reporting teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT activities.
• Participate in data migration and data quality initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical design documents and ETL specifications.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Hands-on experience in:
• ETL Development
• Data Integration
• Data Warehousing
• Data Migration
• Performance Tuning
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQL, or DB2.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Experience in data validation and reconciliation.

Preferred Skills

• Informatica Cloud (IICS) exposure.
• Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
• Knowledge of Informatica MDM.
• Exposure to Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Agile methodology and DevOps practices.
