Editorial Assistant: We are seeking Editorial Assistants for one of the leading journal publishers. This is an exciting opportunity for postgraduates to start their career in scholarly publishing. Responsibilities

• The Editorial Assistant will be part of our editorial support teams with the primary responsibility of managing a set of journals.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the journals through collaboration with editors and publisher staff.
• Guide manuscripts through an online platform from initial submission through to final editorial decision.
• Perform technical and administrative checks on manuscripts for compliance with the journals standard after submission, revision, and acceptance.
• Manage high volume of internal and external e-mail correspondence, providing exceptional customer service to authors, reviewers, and staff.
• Monitor the peer review process with a goal of timely completion of tasks by various stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate, regular status reports to provide performance overview for key stakeholders

Qualification and Prerequisites

• Open strictly to candidates with a Science background (Bachelors or Masters degree in any Science stream).
• Excellent communication (particularly in English)
• Work Mode: In-office*
