We are currently hiring for an urgent opportunity with a reputed Construction Company - Congo !!!

Position : Head-Planning, Monitoring and Controls (PMC)

Project Type : EPC/Construction

Work Location : Congo

Roles & Responsibility :

1. Leadership: This role shall lead the following functions, across all construction and mining projects, for:

a. Planning, Budgeting and Reporting

b. Cost & MIS Management

c. QSS, Billing and Reconciliation Management

d. Asset & Inventory Management All construction assets excluding only P&M and spares.

2. Strategic Planning: Lead the development of integrated organizational or project plans, including detailed work schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

3. Performance Monitoring: Implement performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, ensure adherence to delivery standards, and identify early variances.

4. Project Controls Management: Oversee schedule and cost controls, including earned value analysis, cash flow projections, and progress report generation.

5. Risk & Change Management: Proactively analyze risks, develop mitigation heat-maps, and establish controls to prevent scope creep while adjusting to authorized change orders.

6. Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of planning engineers, cost controllers, and data/document analysts.

7. Stakeholder Reporting: Consolidate data into clear dashboards and periodic reports to inform executive decision-making and ensure cross-departmental alignment.

8. Team Creation: Form the team under him, with optimal resources, and prepare a structured organizational plan for the functioning of this department, co-ordination mechanism between site & HO teams and implement the same.

9. SOP: Establish Standard Operating Procedure for the department, get approval of the same and implement the same in the organization working structure.

Candidate Requirements :

1. B.Tech./M.Tech. in Civil Engineering mandatory.

2. Degree/Diploma in Construction Management mandatory.

3. Minimum experience 30+ years, including in Planning, Budgeting, Costing, out of which at least 7 years in leadership role of a similar department.

4. Experience in multiple types of infrastructure and real estate projects.

5. Experience in construction companies.

6. Experience in working on software like Primavera/Project, AutoCAD (minimum at read and review level). Proficient in MsOffice including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

7. Strong analytical capabilities, excellent cross-cultural communication, and financial

acumen
