- MBBS Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
- MS General Surgery – A 3-year postgraduate degree, or DNB General Surgery, an alternative postgraduate qualification.
- Optional super-specialization – Such as MCh in Neurosurgery, Urology, Plastic Surgery, or another recognized specialty.
