Walk-in || Gas Genset Operator

Role & responsibilities

• Operate gas gensets as per SOPs and plant requirements.
• Monitor parameters such as load, voltage, frequency, gas pressure, temperature, oil pressure, and engine performance.
• Carry out routine inspections, start-up/shutdown, and operational checks.
• Monitor and operate associated BoP equipment including pumps, cooling systems, compressors, fuel/gas systems, and auxiliary systems.
• Maintain daily operational logs, readings, and equipment checklists.
• Identify abnormal conditions, alarms, leakages, vibrations, or unusual sounds and report them promptly.
• Coordinate with the electrical and mechanical maintenance teams for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.

Preferred candidate profile

Typically 25 years of experience in gas genset/DG operation, power plant, STP/ETP, WTP, or industrial utility operations.
