POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Python (FastAPI), React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Databricks, and AWS. The ideal candidate will have proven technical leadership experience, strong client-facing capabilities, and the ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Application Development
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications end-to-end (frontend and backend integration) using Python (Fast API), React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Databricks.
• Build responsive, reusable, and modular user interfaces from Figma, Lovable, or similar design tools.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, AI-powered services, and cloud-native solutions.
• Implement micro-frontend architectures and modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js.
• Deploy, manage, and optimise applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build scalable web applications, manage databases, and implement robust APIs to support data/AI workflows.
Performance, Security & Quality
• Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement modern state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, Recoil, Jotai, or TanStack Query.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Enforce secure coding practices, access controls, and repository governance.
Client Engagement
• Serve as a primary technical contact for client engagements.
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, effort estimation, and project planning.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 57 years of experience in full-stack application development.
• Strong client-facing experience with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Mandatory Technical Skills
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, FastAPI, RESTful services, and AI API integration.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering, analytics, and application integration.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and deployment architectures.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture, micro frontends, and responsive design.
• Experience with modern React frameworks such as Next.js, Remix, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Git, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
Frontend & UI Technologies
• Tailwind CSS, styled-components, CSS Modules, Emotion, or similar frameworks.
• Material UI, Chakra UI, Ant Design, or similar component libraries.
• Data visualisation libraries such as Recharts, D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly, or equivalent.
Engineering Practices
• State management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Jotai, Recoil, TanStack Query, Context API).
• Build and bundling tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Rollup.
• Performance optimisation and monitoring tools (Lighthouse, Web Vitals, Chrome DevTools).
• Unit and integration testing using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Secure coding practices, secret management, and code repository governance.
• Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (GOOD TO HAVE)
• Experience with GenAI integrations, AI-powered applications, and LLM-based solutions.
• MLOps tools, model deployment, and AI/ML operationalisation.
• GraphQL, Apollo Client, and modern API architectures.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
• CI/CD implementation using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and enterprise application architecture.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
• Experience working in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Biotech domains with understanding of commercial, medical, clinical, or regulatory processes.
