Role Purpose

The role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance digital applications using NodeJS-based backend services and NextJS frontend frameworks. The associate will work across the full development lifecycle and contribute to delivering secure, reliable, and user-centric solutions for Energy, Resources & Utility and Life Sciences customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NodeJS
• Develop server-side rendered and client-side applications using NextJS
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
• Apply vibe coding practices:
• Clean, readable, and expressive code
• Strong focus on maintainability, performance, and scalability
• Ownership beyond implementation-quality, resilience, and user experience
• Work with databases (SQL / NoSQL) as per application needs
• Follow Agile/Scrum development practices
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint ceremonies
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, UX, and DevOps teams
• Support CI/CD pipelines and assist in cloud-native deployments
• Contribute to production support, enhancements, and continuous improvements

Technical Skills

Frontend Technologies

• NextJS (SSR, routing, data fetching, performance optimization)
• ReactJS
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design

Backend Technologies

• NodeJS
• REST API development and integration
• Microservices based architecture (working knowledge)

Database

• RDBMS: SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)

DevOps / Platform

• CI/CD concepts (Azure DevOps / Jenkins working knowledge)
