Role & responsibilities

Welcome and assist patients, attendants, and visitors in a professional manner.

• Register new patients and update existing patient records accurately.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments for doctors and consultants.
• Handle patient check-in and check-out processes.
• Manage telephone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries efficiently.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, and other departments for seamless patient services.
• Guide patients regarding hospital services, consultation timings, and procedures.
• Collect and maintain relevant patient documents and records.
• Manage queue systems and ensure smooth patient flow at the reception area.
• Handle patient complaints and escalate issues to the concerned department when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information as per hospital policies.
• Prepare daily reports related to registrations, appointments, and patient footfall.
