Walk-in || Foreclosure Specialist

Core Responsibilities:

• Title Review: Inspect pre-foreclosure title reports, commitments, vesting deeds, legal descriptions, and prior mortgages
• Identify and resolve title issues like outstanding liens, judgments, and tax encumbrances prior to a foreclosure sale
• File and track title insurance claims and post-foreclosure mortgage recovery claims with investors or insurers
• Follow state-specific regulations and investor guidelines governing default and foreclosure timelines
• Review and quality-check title grade sheets for completeness and accuracy of documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1 to 3+ years in mortgage servicing, default operations, or residential title clearance.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with foreclosure laws, title commitments, and real estate documentation
• Experience with abstracting, title examination, survey analysis, and related title research.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and proficiency with core mortgage/title software
• Ability to manage tasks independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
