Walk-in || Financial Counsellor

Role & responsibilities

• Counsel patients and attendants regarding treatment estimates and hospital charges.
• Explain packages, billing details, payment procedures, and financial requirements.
• Coordinate with Billing, Insurance/TPA, Admission, and other departments.
• Assist patients with insurance/TPA-related financial queries.
• Follow up on pending payments and documentation.
• Maintain proper records of counselling and financial discussions.
• Ensure clear and professional communication with patients and attendants.
• Support the team in achieving departmental collection and revenue objectives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 15 years of experience in hospital billing, financial counselling, insurance/TPA, or a similar healthcare role preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and hospital billing processes.
• Ability to handle patients and attendants professionally.
• Candidates with hospital/healthcare experience will be preferred.
