Walk-in || Finance And Taxation Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cost accounting for manufacturing operations.
• Ensure proper inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Maintain compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and company policies.
  

2. Banking Operations

• Handle banking transactions, working capital limits, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate with banks for:
• Bank Guarantees (BG) issuance and closure
• Letter of Credit (LC) documentation
• LC negotiation and tracking
• Performance Guarantees
• Maintain BG and LC registers and monitor expiry dates.
  

3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Manage GST compliance including return filing and reconciliation.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings.
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
  

4. Sales Invoicing & Receivables

• Supervise customer billing and sales invoicing.
• Ensure accurate GST billing and documentation.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payment follow-ups.
• Reconcile customer accounts and outstanding balances.
  

5. Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget vs actual performance.
• Provide financial analysis and cost control measures.
  

6. Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate internal and statutory audits.
• Ensure proper documentation and financial controls.
• Maintain records for statutory inspections and compliance.
  

7. Team Management

• Supervise the accounts team and ensure proper workflow.
• Train team members on accounting systems and compliance procedures.
  

Required Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com with relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting practices.
  

Required Experience

• 510 years experience in finance and accounts, preferably in switchgear, electrical equipment, or manufacturing industry.
  
• Hands-on experience with:
  
• Bank Guarantees
• Letter of Credit (LC) documentation
• GST and taxation
• Sales invoicing
• Working capital management
• Manufacturing cost accounting
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar)
• Excellent banking documentation knowledge
• Good analytical and financial planning skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
