Walk-in || Electrical Procurement & Sourcing Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an Import Export & Electrical Sourcing Executive responsible for managing international procurement, import-export documentation, shipment coordination, and sourcing of electrical/electronic components. The candidate should have hands-on experience in dealing with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, customs clearance processes, and procurement activities related to electrical and industrial components.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Sourcing & Procurement

• Source electrical and electronic components such as connectors, terminals, housings, cables, sensors, switches, relays, PLCs, SMPS, and industrial consumables.
• Float RFQs, collect quotations, prepare comparative statements, and process Purchase Orders.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and planning teams for material requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time material delivery.

Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Identify alternate sources for critical components.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and verify Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Airway Bills, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and insurance documents.
• Coordinate duty payments, customs clearance documents, and logistics paperwork.
• Maintain shipment records and documentation database.

Reporting & MIS

• Prepare procurement and shipment status reports.
• Maintain records of POs, supplier quotations, shipment status, and import costs.
• Update management regarding pending shipments and procurement activities.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Import-Export procedures and customs documentation.
• Experience handling international shipments and overseas suppliers.
• Good understanding of INCOTERMS and freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components procurement.
• Experience in RFQ management, cost comparison, and supplier negotiations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills for dealing with foreign vendors and customers.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and shipment schedules simultaneously

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or International Business.
• 3-5 years experience in Import-Export, Procurement, or Electrical Sourcing.
• Prior exposure to Robotics, Automation, Electronics, Electrical Manufacturing, or Industrial Equipment industries will be preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication for international business interactions.
