Walk-in || Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in MV (Medium Voltage) Panel design to join our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop MV Panels as per project and client specifications
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), GA drawings, and BOMs
• Work on panel design using AutoCAD/relevant design software
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and testing teams for smooth execution of projects
• Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical standards and safety norms
• Support in preparing technical documentation and design calculations
• Liaise with clients/vendors for design clarifications and approvals

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 35 years of relevant experience in MV Panel design
• Strong knowledge of MV Panel components, switchgear, and control circuits
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Electrical) or similar design tools
• Knowledge of substations will be an added advantage
• Good understanding of electrical standards (IS/IEC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams

Preferred Background:

Candidates from companies such as Vidyut Control, Orbital, or Relieserve (or similar MV panel/switchgear manufacturing companies) will be preferred.
