Job Summary

Orange Interiors is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with 2–3 years of relevant experience in commercial interior design and fit-out projects. The candidate will handle electrical layouts, load calculations, BOQ preparation, technical drawings, and coordination with design and site execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical layouts and detailed drawings for commercial interior projects.
• Design lighting, power distribution, DB layouts, UPS, and emergency lighting systems.
• Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and circuit scheduling.
• Prepare electrical BOQ, material quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with interior designers, MEP engineers, site engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Review drawings and support site execution, inspections, and design-related issue resolution.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• Commercial interior electrical design and fit-out experience.
• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Electrical load calculations and cable sizing.
• Lighting and power layouts, DB schedules, and distribution systems.
• BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
• MS Excel and technical drawing interpretation.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in corporate offices, commercial buildings, retail spaces, showrooms, and turnkey interior fit-out projects are preferred.
