Job Overview

Backuplane E-commerce Ventures is looking for an experienced E-commerce Operations Executive to manage and scale our multi-marketplace operations. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end order processing, catalog listing, logistics coordination, and sales reporting across platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order & Logistics Management

• Monitor, process, and dispatch daily orders within marketplace SLAs.
• Download and print invoices, packing slips, and shipping labels.
• Assign appropriate courier partners based on pin code, weight, and delivery performance.
• Track pending, delayed, canceled, returned, and failed (RTO) shipments.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams and courier partners to resolve dispatch and delivery issues.

2. Packaging & Warehouse Supervision

• Supervise order packing to ensure correct products, quantities, and accessories are packed.
• Maintain strict company packaging and dispatch records.

3. Cataloging & Content Optimization

• Create and update product listings, perform bulk uploads, and fix catalog errors.
• Write clear, SEO-optimized product titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend keywords.
• Conduct keyword and competitor research to improve product visibility and conversion rates.

4. Pricing & Marketplace Strategy

• Monitor competitor pricing, offers, and promotions.
• Update product pricing based on profit margins, market demand, and platform fees.
• Maintain up-to-date marketplace pricing sheets.

5. Inventory & Data Reporting

• Maintain daily data for sales, orders, inventory levels, and SKU profitability in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports analyzing sales trends, return rates (RTO), and conversion metrics.
• Coordinate with warehouse and accounts teams to reconcile physical and digital stock levels.

Key Requirements & Skills

• Marketplace Experience: Strong working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Flipkart Seller Hub.
• Data & Spreadsheet Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• SEO & Content Writing: Basic understanding of keyword research and good English writing skills.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to handle large data sets, identify sales bottlenecks, and suggest corrective actions.
• Software Knowledge (Plus): Prior experience with inventory or ERP tools like Zoho Inventory is a plus.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years in e-commerce marketplace operations.
