About Us
Shilpa Stainless is a family-run stainless steel cookware manufacturer with over 50 years of manufacturing heritage, 1,200+ products and BIS-certified production. Our consumer brand, Praylady, sells through its own D2C store (shopwithpraylady.com) and leading online marketplaces. We are looking for an E-commerce Manager to take full ownership of our online business, from stock to settlement.

Role & responsibilities

• Shopify ownership: Learn and manage our Shopify store end to end, including product listings, collections, pricing, discounts, orders, apps, and store health.
• Marketplaces and D2C: Manage all aggregator and marketplace accounts (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, quick-commerce, etc.) alongside the D2C store. This covers listings, catalogue accuracy, account health, and policy compliance.
• Inventory management: Track stock levels across Shopify, marketplace warehouses and FBA, and the factory. Plan replenishment to avoid stock-outs and overstocking.
• Stock invoicing: Raise and maintain stock invoices and inward entries in Shopify and related systems so that records match physical stock.
• Sales analysis: Track and analyse sales by channel, SKU and region. Spot trends, identify slow and fast movers, and share actionable insights with management.
• Unit economics: Understand the cost structure of every product, including COGS, marketplace commissions, shipping, packaging, returns, ads and GST. Make sure each SKU is priced for a healthy margin on every channel.
• Settlement reconciliation and reporting: Reconcile payouts from Shopify and every marketplace after settlement. Prepare a clear periodic P&L and settlement report covering deductions, returns and claims.
• Stakeholder coordination: Act as the point of contact for marketplace account managers, logistics partners, payment gateways and other stakeholders.
• Media team coordination: Work with the media and creative team on product photography, A+ content, listing creatives, campaigns and ad performance.
• Factory coordination: Coordinate with the factory on production priorities, dispatch planning and timely stock inward, so that products are ready for every channel.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate or postgraduate in Commerce, Business or Marketing. An MBA is a plus.
• 3–6 years of hands-on e-commerce experience, ideally with a D2C or consumer brand (home, kitchen or FMCG preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of Shopify admin, including orders, inventory, products, analytics and apps.
• Experience managing seller accounts on Amazon and Flipkart, and preferably other marketplaces.
• Strong in Excel or Google Sheets: pivots, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliations and reports.
• Clear understanding of unit economics, GST invoicing and marketplace fee structures.
• Organised and detail-oriented, comfortable working with factory, accounts and creative teams at the same time.
• Good communication in English. Tamil and/or Hindi is an advantage.
• Ownership mindset: treats the e-commerce business as their own P&L.
