JOB DESCRIPTION DRIVER | LANSON TOYOTA

Job Title: Driver
Department: Operations / Sales & Service
Location: Lanson Toyota, Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time

Roles & Responsibilities

• Safely drive and handle company, customer, and dealership vehicles.
• Support vehicle pickup and drop for customers when required.
• Assist with vehicle delivery and collection activities.
• Move vehicles safely between showroom, workshop, parking, and delivery areas.
• Assist customers during test drives as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic condition of assigned vehicles.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks before and after driving.
• Follow all traffic rules, road safety guidelines, and company procedures.
• Report any vehicle damage, accident, or mechanical issue immediately.
• Maintain trip details and vehicle-related records when required.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, and Delivery teams for smooth vehicle movement.
• Provide polite and professional service while handling customer vehicles.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Valid LMV / 4-Wheeler Driving Licence is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience preferred.
• Experience in a car dealership, showroom, or service centre will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Chennai roads and routes.
• Good driving skills with a safety-first approach.
• Punctual, responsible, and disciplined.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to work according to dealership requirements.
