Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain scalable batch and real-time data processing pipelines using Cloud Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub.
• Data Warehousing: Design, manage, and optimize complex data models, schemas, and high-performance queries in BigQuery.
• Orchestration: Automate and monitor workflow schedules using Cloud Composer and Apache Airflow (DAGs).
• Data Governance: Implement data security, access controls, data quality rules, and compliance standards across storage and analytics layers.
• Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, software developers, and business analysts to deliver reliable data assets for downstream analytics and AI/ML workloads. [1, 2]

Required Technical Skills

• GCP Services: BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
• Programming & Querying: Advanced SQL and expert-level Python or PySpark.
• Big Data Frameworks: Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or Hadoop ecosystems.
• Data Concepts: Advanced data modeling, dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schema), and data warehousing patterns.
