Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with strong expertise in Advanced Excel and Taxation to support our Finance & Accounting operations for a US-based client. The role involves working independently during the night shift, managing financial data, preparing tax-related reports, and delivering accurate MIS outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance

• Prepare and review Income Tax returns, Personal Tax Returns
• Support tax assessments, notices, and departmental queries
• Ensure timely filing and compliance with statutory deadlines
• Review basic accounting records for tax accuracy
• Identify discrepancies between books and tax records
• Support tax computations and adjustments

Analysis & Problem Solving

• Apply critical thinking to interpret tax rules and resolve issues
• Identify risks, errors, and opportunities for compliance improvement
• Support seniors in tax planning and advisory tasks

Documentation & Process

• Maintain proper working papers and tax files
• Follow internal quality standards and processes
• Support process improvements and automation where applicable

Communication Skills

Educational Qualification

• B.Com or M.Com (mandatory)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in taxation and from a CA firm
