• Equipment Operation: Set up, sterilize, and test dialysis machines and prepare the dialysate solution according to doctor orders. [1, 2]
• Patient Monitoring: Check vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature) before, during, and after treatment, and watch for any complications. [1, 2]
• Clinical Support: Administer treatments, sometimes including needle insertion (cannulation) to connect the patient to the machine, under the supervision of a nurse or physician. [1, 2, 3]
