Walk-in || Design Engineer

Domain: Automotive Exterior Design & Development
CAD Tool: UG NX / Siemens NX

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Hands-on experience in Automotive Exterior component design and development using UG NX / Siemens NX.
• Strong knowledge of Master Section creation, interpretation, and development.
• Experience in exterior components such as bumper, grille, cladding, garnish, spoiler, and other plastic trims.
• Good understanding of Class-A surface interpretation and engineering feasibility.
• Strong knowledge of plastic part design and injection molding principles.
• Expertise in DFM & DFA, including draft, wall thickness, ribs, bosses, clips, doghouses, locators, and attachment features.
• Knowledge of packaging, interfaces, gap & flush, GD&T, tolerances, and design release.
• Ability to work with styling, manufacturing, tooling, CAE, and cross-functional teams.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or equivalent.

Mandatory Skills: UG NX | Automotive Exterior | Master Sections | DFM & DFA

Screening priority: Look specifically for candidates with actual exterior plastic component development + master section experience, rather than profiles having only UG NX modelling experience.
