Walk-in || Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using PTC Creo.
• Create and maintain parametric models, sheet metal, plastic, casting, and machined component designs.
• Interpret customer specifications, engineering requirements, and design standards.
• Perform design modifications and engineering change requests (ECR/ECO).
• Generate BOMs (Bill of Materials) and support product documentation.
• Collaborate with product design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to GD&T standards.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
• Maintain design data within PLM/PDM systems.
• Ensure compliance with customer and company design processes.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in PTC Creo Parametric (Part Modelling, Assembly, Drafting).
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Experience in 3D modelling, detailing, and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, casting, and injection molding.
• Familiarity with PLM/PDM tools such as Windchill.
• Understanding of engineering standards and design documentation.
