Walk-in || Dental Chairside Assistant

The Dental Nurse assists the dentist at chairside during all routine and advanced procedures, ensures strict infectioncontrol standards, and supports smooth patient flow in the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up the treatment room, ensuring all instruments, materials, and equipment are ready and sterile.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials (e.g., cements, impression material), and using suction and retractors as needed.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment by following infectioncontrol and healthsafety protocols, including sterilization and proper disposal of sharps and waste.
• Help with patient positioning, reassurance, and basic pre and postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Record and update patient notes and treatment details accurately in the dental software under the dentists guidance.
• Perform stock control, order clinical supplies, and report equipment faults to the practice manager.
• Assist with extraoral duties (e.g., greeting patients, basic frontdesk support) when required, depending on clinic workflow.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Completion of a recognized Dental Nursing / Dental Assistant course (or equivalent experience).
• Basic knowledge of infection control, sterilization, and dental materials.
• Good communication skills and empathy with patients of all ages.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under chairside pressure.
