Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all children.
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap time, and other daily activities.
• Plan and conduct age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in classrooms, play areas, and sleeping areas.
• Assist children with eating, handwashing, toileting, and other personal care needs, as appropriate for their age.
• Encourage positive behavior, sharing, cooperation, and good manners.
• Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
• Maintain daily attendance, activity records, and incident reports.
• Follow daycare policies, health guidelines, and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate with other teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum qualification: 12th pass; ECCE, NTT, Montessori, or a relevant childcare qualification is preferred.
• Previous experience in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Knowledge of basic child safety, hygiene, and first aid is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple children and work effectively in a team.
