JD - Medical Coding Fresher - OP/IP

• Candidates should be certified from AAPC or AHIMA with any of the core coding credentials like CPC, CCS-P, COC, CCA etc.
• Candidates should be from Health science (or) paramedic background (BAMS, BHMS, BPT, B. Pharma/M. Pharma/Nursing/Other life science)
• Candidates should be 2026/2025/2024/2023.
• Graduates who passed out from the year 2023 and later with strong academic credentials only.
• Candidates should have sound knowledge in CPT coding along with fundamental coding guidelines (ICD , CPT , Modifier)
• Candidates who are strong in clinical knowledge (Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Surgical Anatomy) will be preferred.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures, using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes.
• Follow up with the provider on any documentation that is insufficient or unclear.
• Communicate with other clinical staff regarding documentation.
• Search for information in cases where the coding is complex or unusual.
• Receive and review patient charts and documents for accuracy.
• Review the previous day's batch of patient notes for evaluation and coding.
• Ensure that all codes are current and active.
