Walk-in || Country Account Manager

Role & responsibilities

Monitoring preparation of books of accounts, GL reconciliation and consolidated reports in compliance with statutory requirements, time & accuracy norms

• Performing Balance Sheet Flux Analysis; analyzed quarterly fluctuations in Balance Sheet Accounts
• Performing Balance Sheet reconciliations preferably using blackline
• Executing General Accounting process of Inter-company, fixed assets & accounting and financial reporting
• Administering & reviewing Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Accounts
• Preparation of VAT & WHT return, filling, payment & taxes recon on monthly basis.
• Conducting accrual & provisions for month end & quarter ending closer of books of accounts.
• Finalizing the books of accounts every month and submitting reports to top management
• Independently handling internal audit, statutory audit & tax audit including preparation of financial statements
• Monitor cash balance and coordinate with Treasury on funding process
• Review and assist manual payment request when applicable.
• Liaise with suppliers/local offices in relation to various aspects including invoice payment and queries.
• Review and ensure that all procedures are followed in accordance with Company policy.
• Addressing audit assessments, departmental inquiries, tax notices received
• Preparation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures

Preferred candidate profile

CA/ICWA or equivalent required with a concentration in Audit, Taxation & Accounting

• 2-5 years accounting experience, Country controllership

Excellent computer skills required with experience in Excel must.

• Exposure to ERP, preferably SAP
• Team-oriented and customer focused with excellent interpersonal skills. Must have good problem solving and resolution skills.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to analyze and interpret business practices & technical procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information to all levels verbally and in written reports
