Job Title: CNC Turning Operator
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Qualification: ITI / Diploma Mechanical, Fitter, Turner, Machinist or relevant trade
Experience: 1-10 years in CNC Turning operations
Industry: Precision Engineering / Aerospace / Defence / Automotive / General Engineering

Job Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Turning machines/ CNC Lathes as per production drawings and process instructions.
• Perform machine setting, tool offset corrections, work offsets and basic parameter adjustments.
• Load and unload components and ensure proper job clamping and alignment.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and machining symbols.
• Select and use appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders and measuring instruments.
• Inspect components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
• Monitor machining operations and make necessary offset corrections to maintain dimensional accuracy.

Preferred: Candidates with experience machining precision components in Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Energy or high-precision engineering environments.
