About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Engineer with strong hands-on experience in civil engineering maintenance works to manage and supervise maintenance activities at our client's site in Ennore, Chennai.

The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge, team-handling capabilities, reporting skills, and the ability to manage site activities and assets effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil maintenance activities at the site.
• Handle civil maintenance works, including repairs, preventive maintenance, and general building/infrastructure upkeep.
• Monitor site activities and ensure work is completed within the required timelines and quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate with technicians, contractors, vendors, and site-level teams.
• Handle and maintain site-related assets, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare regular site reports, maintenance reports, work updates, and documentation.
• Identify maintenance requirements and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and resources.
• Monitor work progress and maintain site records.
• Support planning and execution of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and site standards.
• Take ownership of site-related issues and provide effective solutions.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Civil Engineering Maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of civil maintenance and repair works.
• Good team-handling and leadership skills.
• Good reporting and documentation skills.
• Experience in asset handling and site management.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for site activities.

• Two-wheeler is mandatory.

Candidate Preference

• Candidates with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Civil Maintenance are preferred.
• Candidates currently residing near Ennore, Chennai will be preferred.
• Candidates who are willing to relocate to Ennore can also apply.
• Must be comfortable working at the Ennore site.
