Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, hands-on Cinematographer / Videographer with 0 to 2 years of experience to shoot compelling visual content for digital campaigns, brand films, social media reels, and product shoots. The ideal candidate must own their professional camera setup and have a sharp eye for lighting, composition, camera movement, and visual framing. You will work closely with directors, editors, and the creative team to translate conceptual scripts into stunning visual realities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Shoot Execution: Plan and execute professional video shoots for brand commercials, social media content, customer testimonials, product launches, and corporate events.
- Camera & Equipment Operation: Operate professional cinema/mirrorless cameras, gimbals, sliders, and audio recording gear to capture high-resolution footage.
- Lighting & Framing: Set up professional lighting arrangements (three-point lighting, LED panels, softboxes, and natural light manipulation) to achieve the desired mood and aesthetic.
- Pre & Post-Production Coordination: Collaborate with the creative team during pre-production mood board creation, storyboard planning, and coordinate seamlessly with video editors post-shoot.
- On-Site Management: Manage location setups, handle equipment maintenance, and ensure smooth execution during fast-paced agency shoots.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of professional cinematography, videography, or camera-handling experience (agency or freelance showreel preferred).
- Mandatory Requirement: The candidate must own their own professional camera setup (DSLR/Mirrorless cinema body, essential lenses, basic lighting, and stabilization gear).
- Technical Mastery: Strong understanding of camera settings (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, log profiles, and framerates) and modern lighting techniques.
- Software Familiarity: Basic knowledge of editing or grading software (Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve) is a strong plus.
- Aesthetic & Trends: Up-to-date with current digital video trends, social media formats (reels/shorts pacing), and visual storytelling techniques.
- Availability: Immediate joiners or those with short notice periods will be given preference.
