Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Kitchen Chef specializing in Pan-Asian cuisine. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing authentic Asian dishes, maintaining food quality, and managing kitchen operations while following food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Pan-Asian dishes, including Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, and other Asian cuisines, as per the restaurant menu.
• Prepare sauces, marinades, stocks, noodles, rice, stir-fried dishes, curries, and other Asian specialties.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, portion sizes, and food quality.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation.
• Manage mise en place and ensure all ingredients are prepared before service.
• Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, storage, and stock levels.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
• Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team for smooth and timely food service.
• Follow standard recipes, kitchen SOPs, and food safety guidelines.
• Assist in menu development and introduce new Pan-Asian dishes when required.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Pan-Asian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Experience with wok cooking, stir-frying, Asian sauces, noodles, and rice preparations.
• Knowledge of ingredient handling, food storage, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Culinary qualification or relevant professional kitchen experience preferred.

Experience: 05 years preferred in Pan-Asian or Asian cuisine.
