Tanishq is looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Cashier to manage billing transactions, handle cash and digital payments, and ensure a seamless checkout experience for customers. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience in retail billing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer billing and checkout processes accurately.
• Process cash, credit/debit card, UPI, and other digital payment transactions.
• Ensure proper issuance of invoices, receipts, and related documents.
• Maintain daily cash balance and reconcile cash collections at the end of the shift.
• Verify and record sales transactions in the billing system.
• Support customers with billing queries and payment-related concerns.
• Coordinate with the sales team for smooth transaction processing.
• Adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of cash and transaction records.
• Assist in store opening and closing activities as required.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
• 1-4 years of experience as a Cashier in Retail, Jewellery, Apparel, Electronics, or FMCG stores.
• Familiarity with POS systems and billing software.
• Good numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office and billing applications).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
