CAE Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Finite Element (FE) modeling, meshing, assembly, connections, material and section assignments, and model debugging.
• Develop and deliver CAE models for Crash, Durability domains.
• Create full vehicle models including BIW, Closures, Engine, Powertrain, Suspension, and Interior systems.
• Ensure model quality, accuracy, and timely delivery as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and clients for requirement clarification and project updates.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to improve productivity and reduce errors.

Required Skills:

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 4-8 years of experience in CAE Model Build activities.
• Strong expertise in full vehicle FE model development.
• Hands-on experience with ANSA, Abaqus and LS-DYNA.
• Experience in plastic part meshing and model assembly.
• Knowledge of Crash, Durability, and NVH analysis requirements.
• Strong understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) principles.
• Good communication, technical documentation, and reporting skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Vehicle systems modeling: BIW, Closures, Powertrain, Suspension, and Interiors.
• Automation/macros development for CAE model build activities.
• Team coordination and customer-facing experience.
