Walk-in || Cad Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Convert hand-drawn sketches or client briefs into accurate 3D CAD files for rings, pendants, earrings, and bracelets.
• Ensure technical feasibility for manufacturing processes like casting, mass pave layouts, and gem setting.
• Specify exact dimensions, metal thickness, stone sizes, and total component weights.
• Create photorealistic renderings or 360-degree video files for client approval and marketing presentations.
• Collaborate closely with production teams, bench jewelers, and merchandisers to revise models based on casting feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in specialized jewellery software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, Matrix, or JewelCAD (ZBrush and T-Splines are often preferred for organic shapes).
• Strong technical knowledge of precious metals, gemology, and stone-setting techniques.
• Excellent spatial visualization and attention to detail.
• Diploma or degree in Jewellery Design, Product Design, or equivalent practical experience.
