CAD DESIGN ENGINEER CREO

The CAD Engineers shall provide engineering design support using Creo 8 or later versions. The role will focus on creating and updating 3D sheet metal models, supporting structural fabrication and assembly design requirements, and maintaining engineering design data in Windchill.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, modify, and maintain 3D sheet metal models using Creo 8 or later versions.
• Capable of a parametric 3D model & Assembly from existing un-parametrically built structure or out of 2D drawings.
• Support structural fabrication and assembly design activities based on project requirements.
• Apply DFX concepts during design development to support manufacturability, assembly, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Prepare and update CAD models, drawings, and related engineering documentation.
• Use Windchill for CAD data management, design revision control, and engineering release support.
• Coordinate with engineering stakeholders to resolve design clarifications and support timely completion of assigned tasks.

Required Experience and Skills

• The resource shall have at least 3 years of experience in creating 3D sheet metal models using Creo 8 or later versions.
• The resource shall also have working knowledge of Windchill, familiarity with structural fabrication and assembly processes, and experience in applying DFX concepts in design.
• Resource from Energy sector (Specifically BESS Industry) background is preferred and advantage.
• Experience in enclosure design, structural design, harness will be an added advantage.
