Job Purpose

The Branch Relationship Officer Operations is responsible for handling day-to-day branch operations, ensuring smooth customer service, accurate processing of banking transactions, and compliance with bank policies and RBI guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Operations

• Handle counter operations including cash/non-cash transactions
• Processing of account opening, KYC verification, and documentation
• Handling cheque clearing, inward & outward clearing
• Maintain accurate records, registers, and MIS

Customer Service

• Resolve customer queries related to accounts, deposits, ATM, cards, and net banking
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
• Assist customers with digital banking onboarding

Compliance & Control

• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, KYC/AML norms
• Support branch audits and inspections
• Ensure zero operational errors and fraud prevention

Cross-Functional Support

• Support relationship managers in CASA & deposit servicing
• Coordinate with back-office and centralized operations teams
• Assist in branch administration activities

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Management preferred)

Experience

• 16 years of experience in banking operations, branch operations, or BFSI
• Freshers with relevant internships may also apply

Skills Required

• Knowledge of banking operations & documentation
• Basic understanding of CASA, FD, RD, KYC norms
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
• Proficiency in MS Office & banking systems
• Attention to detail and process orientation
