Walk-in || Branch Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead, manage and motivate the branch sales team to achieve business targets.
• Handle and monitor team performance, productivity, daily activities and sales conversions.
• Drive Life Insurance sales through the Direct Channel.
• Set branch-level sales targets and ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly goals.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop sales team members to improve productivity.
• Generate business through leads, customer acquisition, referrals and sales activities.
• Monitor the complete sales funnel, including lead allocation, follow-up and closure.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of customer service.
• Review team performance through regular meetings, MIS and performance tracking.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Identify market opportunities and implement strategies to increase branch business.

Preferred candidate profile

• Relevant experience in Life Insurance / Insurance / BFSI sales.
• Prior experience managing and handling a sales team is mandatory.
• Experience in the Direct Channel will be strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and team-management skills.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Good understanding of Life Insurance products and sales processes.
• Strong customer relationship, negotiation and business-development skills.
• Target-oriented, self-motivated and capable of working in a high-performance environment.
