Walk-in || Body Shop Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Operations & Workflow: Manage daily shop tasks, vehicle scheduling, repair orders (job cards), and turnaround times
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor body repair technicians, painters, and service advisors.
• Insurance & Claims: Coordinate with insurance adjusters, surveyors, and financial services representatives to approve estimates and manage claims.
• Estimating & Cost Control: Prepare and review accurate repair estimates, monitor labor and parts costs, and control shop inventory.
• Financial Management: Forecast and work toward department revenue, sales, and profit targets.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer/dealership standards and enforce workplace safety and environmental rules.
• Customer Relations: Handle customer inquiries and complaints, explain repair estimates and timelines, and encourage repeat or referral business
