Walk-in || Biw Design Engineer

Position: BIW Design Engineer
Location: Chennai
Experience: 3 to 6 Years
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech Mechanical / Automotive Engineering

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop BIW (Body in White) components using UG NX / CATIA.
• Create parametric surface, assembly, and sheet metal models.
• Perform DMU analysis, section studies, clash & clearance checks.
• Work on DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T, design validation, and manufacturability.
• Manage BOM structures in Teamcenter (TC) / PLM / EBOM.
• Coordinate with CAE teams, suppliers, and manufacturing plants.
• Support engineering changes, cost optimization, weight reduction, and problem-solving activities.
• Ensure compliance with OEM standards, regulations, and release processes.
