Position: Core Team Engineer Closures
Location: Chennai
Experience: 3–6 Years
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech – Mechanical / Automotive Engineering

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automotive Closure Systems including Hoods, Side Doors, Fenders, Liftgates, Tailgates, Hardware, Sealing Systems, Door Modules, and Manual Tops.
• Perform feasibility studies, design validation, and engineering release activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, styling, vehicle integration, and manufacturing teams.
• Support homologation, regulatory compliance, product development, and problem resolution.
• Drive cost reduction, weight optimization, quality improvements, and timely project delivery.
• Manage CAD data and product structures in Teamcenter/PLM.
